OET test dates 2026 and booking deadlines

Remaining 2026 paper dates (global)

Each paper sitting has its own booking deadline and results date. Some dates are for Nursing and Medicine only; “7 professions” means Nursing, Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Radiography and Veterinary Science. OET: book a test.

A date in this table does not mean seats are free. Check your mode, profession, country and venue in the test finder before you book. OET test regulations.

Remaining 2026 paper dates (Americas)

Americas paper tests are on Fridays, 1 day before the matching global test. Some results dates differ. OET: book a test.

OET on Computer dates

Search your country in OET’s test finder for current computer dates. OET’s published computer calendar only lists dates up to 3 June 2026, but computer testing did not stop then. OET test regulations.

Results can arrive as early as 48 hours after you finish all 4 sub-tests, and OET says 95% arrive within 6 calendar days. OET on Computer.

OET@Home dates

You can only book OET@Home if your country has no paper or computer venue, or if OET approves exceptional circumstances. If that applies and your regulator accepts home tests, find dates in OET’s test finder. Results can arrive as early as 48 hours after you finish all sub-tests. OET test regulations; OET@Home.

For OET on Computer and OET@Home, your Speaking test may be on a different day from the other three sub-tests; check the appointments in your booking. Your regulator must also accept the way you take Speaking.

Booking deadlines by mode

UTC is Coordinated Universal Time, so convert the cut-off to your local time. The first January paper tests closed earlier, 26 days before: the global 10 January test on 15 December 2025 and the Americas 9 January test on 14 December 2025. OET: book a test.

Work back from your registration deadline

Start with the date your regulator needs your result, then pick a sitting whose results date comes well before it. OET says results times are estimates and can be delayed by extra checks, public holidays or regional factors. For example, the 7 November global test lists results on 24 November; if your deadline is 25 November, there is almost no room for a delay, so choose an earlier sitting.
