Every fact about OET on this site links to the official source it came from, together with any condition that applies. AI drafts these pages and AI checks them; no named human expert reviews them.
How a page is written
GK’s Study Centre LLC operates OETify and publishes this site under the OETify editorial team byline. About OETify explains how OETify differs from the OET test owner.
- We start from quoted facts in OET’s own documents, with their conditions.
- A draft uses those facts to answer a question a nurse actually has, such as what to book or what score to aim for.
- One AI check matches every claim to its source.
- A second AI check looks for unclear wording, repetition and promises we cannot support.
- Anything flagged goes back for revision and is checked again.
Example: one claim and the condition kept with it.
| Part of the evidence | Example |
|---|---|
| Claim | OET@Home is for people without a paper or computer venue in their country, or approved exceptional circumstances |
| Primary source | OET Test Regulations, section 6.2 |
| Source access date | 6 October 2026 |
| Condition kept | No venue in your country, or approval for exceptional circumstances |
Some organisations do not accept OET@Home, which is why the OET@Home guidance sits beside that claim.
Regulator rules change
OET’s recognising-organisations directory warns that its information may have changed. Confirm your receiving organisation’s requirements before choosing a target or booking a test. The score requirements guide lists regulator-specific routes.
When sources are checked again
| Subject | Review interval |
|---|---|
| Fees, dates, booking, results and regulator requirements | 90 days |
| Exam technique and study advice | 180 days |
| A guide covering both | 90 days |
The “Verified on” date moves only after a real source check. A spelling, layout or wording edit does not change it. Rules can change after the date shown, so treat it as the last time we looked.
Reporting an error
Report an error to support@oetify.com. Include the guide URL, the wording you think is wrong and a link to an official source if you have one. For fees or booking rules, add your country and how you will sit the test.
Reports are checked against the cited sources within 7 days. A corrected page shows an “Updated on” date and says what changed. That note is separate from the “Verified on” date.
Signed-in learners can also report a content problem or open a support ticket in the app.
Feedback in the app
Writing and Speaking feedback in the app is also produced by AI. It points to the words in your letter or conversation and offers corrections. OETify does not predict numeric Writing or Speaking scores, and readiness bands are estimates.
Original practice and patient privacy
Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment owns OET test content, and its regulations prohibit reproducing or sharing test items. Every OETify practice task, including each practice letter, is original and fictional, labelled “original practice material written by OETify”. We do not copy official OET questions, sample tests, recordings or letters.
Keep real patient names, dates of birth and confidential identifiers out of anything you submit.
Authorship and source questions
