Eligibility and accounts
Learners must be 18 or older. OETify uses passwordless accounts, with linked Google/Apple sign-in where offered. Keep access to the email used for sign-in and recovery. To use your account, you need to accept the current Terms, Privacy policy and Essential AI Processing documents. Until you accept the current versions, you cannot use learning activities. Read the privacy policy for data uses and controls.
Subscriptions and allowance
The current learner plans cover Nursing. Monthly and 3-month plans renew automatically; the 3-month plan bills every 3 months. See pricing for the published offers. Native purchase screens show store-localised prices. Native purchases use App Store/Google Play through RevenueCat; web purchases use Stripe. You can subscribe in the app after your free baseline; the payment options available to you are shown there. There is no free subscription trial; the baseline assessment is free.
Both plans include 40 Writing evaluations, 40 Speaking role-plays and 8 full mocks per calendar month. Typed and handwritten Writing, lesson evaluations and mock Writing/Speaking share these allowances. Baseline work does not count. Sponsored learners have the same account-wide allowance. The month uses Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) and resets on the first day of the next month. Your local reset time depends on your timezone. Renewing within a calendar month does not grant another allowance for that month. Exact retries of the same work do not count again; fresh submissions count towards the allowance. At the limit, the app shows the reset date.
Agency seats and sharing
These rules apply to Nursing seat packs that an agency buys through the web agency workspace. Only signed-in, authorised agency members can buy seats. Purchased seat packs are one-off orders, not subscriptions. Accepting a sponsored invitation starts 3 calendar months of access while the sponsorship relationship and agency remain active. Accepted seats cannot be reassigned or refunded. Unused seats expire 12 calendar months after purchase. Seats bought under a separate contract follow that contract’s terms. For orders above 100 seats or bank-transfer invoices, contact support@oetify.com.
Within 14 days of purchase, the agency owner can request a full refund of all remaining unused seats in an eligible order. Disputed or already-refunded orders cannot start a new refund request. Unused seats are reserved while the refund request is pending. Stripe must confirm the refund before those seats are removed. An unused-seat refund does not remove an accepted learner’s access. See the refund policy for the owner’s steps and contact support if the request fails or remains unresolved.
Sponsorship or referral does not authorise progress sharing. Agency access needs your active, unexpired grant and is limited to chosen basic progress fields. Your private Writing, recordings, answers and detailed feedback are excluded. You can revoke sharing at any time, but revoking does not erase an export the agency has already downloaded.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Use Settings → View subscription → Manage subscription where available. Manage store purchases through the original App Store or Google Play account. Manage Stripe subscriptions through OETify on the web. Apple and Google handle store refunds under their own policies.
For a web subscription, request a full refund within 7 days of its first payment at support@oetify.com. After that window, there are no refunds for partial periods. A full refund ends access. See the refund policy for the separate unused agency-seat rule.
Licence and intellectual property
OETify’s practice material, feedback, software and design belong to GK’s Study Centre LLC. All practice material on OETify is written by OETify. We never copy official OET questions, sample tests, recordings or letters. Practice pages carry the label “Original practice material written by OETify”. The name OET and references to its owner do not imply permission to use official test material.
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use OETify for your own exam preparation while your account is active. Do not copy, resell, republish or share OETify material outside your account.
You keep ownership of the letters, recordings and other work you submit. You allow OETify to store and process that work to give you feedback, study plans and the other features you use. The privacy policy explains how your work is handled.
Acceptable use
Use OETify only for your own preparation and fictional clinical communication exercises. Do not:
- share your account, sign-in links or sessions with anyone else;
- scrape, bulk-copy or automate access to OETify;
- try to bypass access controls, allowances or security, or interfere with other learners;
- enter identifiable or confidential patient information, including in handwriting photos, microphone audio or support messages.
You are responsible for activity through your active sessions.
Disclaimers
OETify is for exam preparation only. Automated feedback can be wrong. Feedback and readiness bands are preparation estimates, not official OET scores. OETify does not currently give numeric Writing or Speaking score predictions. Speaking feedback uses your transcript and timing; it does not judge pronunciation, accent or voice quality. OETify does not promise any OET result, grade, pass, registration, job or immigration outcome.
OETify is independent of OET and Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment and is not affiliated with or endorsed by either. Its exercises and feedback are educational and are not professional or clinical advice. Do not use simulated case content to decide patient care. Features may change or be temporarily unavailable. Read the disclaimer before relying on preparation estimates.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, OETify’s total liability to you for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid OETify in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as liability for fraud, or your consumer rights in your country.
Suspension, termination and deletion
You can stop using OETify at any time. To close your account, request deletion through Privacy and data. Deletion needs a fresh email confirmation and a typed confirmation, and there is a 24-hour grace period. Work still in progress or a legal hold can delay or block deletion. Deletion is separate from a refund request and does not confirm cancellation of store subscriptions. The privacy policy describes retained accounting records and local-file limits.
OETify may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and explain why.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If we make a material change, we will tell you in the app or by email. Required in-app documents have version numbers; you need to accept the current versions to use learning activities.
Governing law and contact
Delaware law governs these Terms. This does not remove any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of the country where you live. For Terms questions or corrections, email support@oetify.com.
